Bought this in 1993 just a stripped cab on a frame. Was going to cut the cab down and make an extended cab, mount it on a 41 COE truck. Never did. Last year I assembled all of the correct parts (except that I installed a stuck Plymouth 217 engine) and tried to sell it on Craigs list (for $3K), NO ONE wanted it. Tried selling it again on Craigs list this year (2017),sold it in April 2017 to a father son team in Visalia for a tad more. I included a complete front axle drum to drum (the axle in it has stripped gears), a PW 2 speed transfer case w/brackets, two more combat wheels (a rear one on it holds air but is ready to explode because of rust thru), inner rear axles, a Dodge 230 engine (has a 217 in it now) and other parts. Somehow Dave of Rough and Ready Power Wagons put it on Ebay for buy it now price of $15,000, starting bid of $5,000 (w/o the front axle or rear inner axles or transfer case or 230); no one bid on it in June 2017. August 2017 it has several bidders on ebay, 9 days to go. I titled the truck last year and it is probably still in my name. It is not a bad truck, I have restored a lot worse but it really needs that front axle, 2 speed transfer case, inner axles and 230 engine! Weeks later.....Aug 18th: The ebay auction ends in two hours, to whoever buys this truck I have a two speed power wagon transfer case and brackets, maybe another front axle, and other parts that you may need. I live in N. CA, email me through this messaging system. I actually have an entire early WC 51 chassis with small pumpkins that I installed 1/2 ton gears (4:89 to 1 ratio) that I will sell. I still have the original early front axle housing (no gears or shafts) that came out of this carryall. I have some 251 engines and combat wheels (you will need two more). Good luck with the purchase, Steve.
