| Thought to last be in service as trucking/transit company rig in the panhandle of Idaho, Coeur d' Alene, in the late '60's. Scripting on the door says 'Luke's Transfer', lettering across the nose is 'Gas Heat, That's Hot!', and I suppose sitting on top of that thing, hauling in some of the mountanous terrain around here, it was indeed hot. Every piece of glass on this truck was busted out when I purchased it, the damage to the grille & nose appear to have been from when it was last parked prior to my ownership, perhaps with a backhoe. |
