Originally National Guard truck (Minnesota)
next owner was Pine City School District
next owner was local (Pine City) filling station/repair garage
next owner was not known but from same general area..hung up on stump in woods and broke the motor.
next owner bought non-running (above)truck to make a trailer.
I talked him out of it and he sold to me summer of 1974 or 1975.
Condition of truck when purchased: no tailgate, no seat bottom or back, non-original engine was locked-up, otherwise complete. Had plate steel push bumper (welded to frame horns) with tire-tread cushions bolted to it. I pondered which way to proceed and decided to make street rod. Have owned for 41 years (storage). recently started building street rod. (Desoto hemi w/671 gm blower, torqueflite, custom frame, body will remain stock except for floor of box)Love this truck. Pictures circa 1975..tires/wheels installed for the pics (truck non-operable at that time).
