Fallen in love with this truck and decided to save it. It was auctioned for parts and many placed bids and after highest bid stopped I placed my bid and finally I got to own it. I been trying to get the history of the truck and so far these are the above. This is my last bucket list and start working on it. Rebuild the carburetor, changed the oil, replaced the spark plugs and wires. Start replacing all the wires now.
The only issues I am facing the wheels and tires. The wheels are band in California and some they call it the “death ring wheel” no one will work on it nor even find same size locally (7.50-20)(34x7) 10 ply. Similar tires but not the original sold locally over $300 each plus shipping.
My truck is work in progress and I’ll update this post when I am able to preform the first fire up.
