3/4 ton pickup was converted to a flatbed used at Bighorn Spring Ranch in Northern California with 75k miles. I like the idea of a flat bed with white oak bed and rails. Will be adding duel wheels. I found the truck at a home on Wolf Mountain in Grass Vally, California. Been sitting in a field abandoned for over 40 years, everything was rusted. I brought it to my home in Wilderville, Oregon in 2012. Deconstruction started in 2013. The original tires and wheels were replace to accommodate todays tires. I have been very successful in restoring most everything. I'll be keeping the 6-volt system. The engine, transmission and transfer unit is next to be rebuilt, (hopefully). All body parts have been restored without bondo. Final paint will not be the original black and red but, light green and yellow to represent the State of Jefferson to be used in parades etc...
