My 1948 Dodge B-1-D, 1-Ton Stake truck was purchased in 1948 by Elmer Reeves and was used to transport fruits and vegetables to market from the Reeves produce farm located on Route 8 near Contance, Kentucky. In 1978 the truck was transfered to Elmer's daughter's (Sue Robinson) place in Richwood, KY. The truck was garage kept until about the year 2000 and was then moved into a barn environment. The truck was used from time to time on the Robinson's tobacco farm in Richwood, KY. The truck has now been passed to a third generation member of the family for safe keeping and restoration. We have named the truck "Sue Baby", in memory of Aunt Sue (Reeves) Robinson.
