| This truck was bought new by my great-grandfather, my grandfather bought it from him when he couldn't drive it anymore, and it was used as a farm truck up until 1978 when it was parked because of a stuck ring. I began working on it when I was in junior high, scraped up enough cash to get it running before I graduated college, and it's been on the road since '99. No one remembers when this happened, but the original motor was replaced with a '53 Plymouth 218 from a rebuild shop in Oklahoma City. |
