Truck titled in New Mexico as a 1949, but comes up as 1950 on the registry decoder when entering the truck serial number. Bought in Corrales NM in Jan 2021 from son-in-law of original owner, and was told that his father-in-law just stopped driving it due to it was smoking, and so had bought another truck. Original owner lived in the Los Cerillos NM area and drove it to work daily to UNM College in Albuquerque until stopped driving it about 30 years ago from Jan 2021 when I purchased it, so stopped driving it about 1990'ish. I have not begun trying to get it driving yet, just been gathering parts as well as a new wiring harness. It is now April 2024 as I found the registry via comments of a FB post and registered mine. Couple pics are from the son-in-law's yard on purchase day, and others from my yard. The ones with the Ford Ranger wheel on the back are from my yard. Gonna have to bore out the center hole more to get the Ranger wheels to fit over the front hub so I can mount the fronts. Lots of 'patina' but the only rust hole found was in the lower center rear wall to floor area where accumulation from lots of rat 'stuff' had set for 30 years.
