Truck was hot rodded prior to my ownership. I purchased it from a father / son from north of Minneapolis, Minnesota. They had pulled the driveline out (not original) and the truck sat parked (unused) for 27 years. They had purchased it from another gentleman, who from my understanding, hotrodded the truck sometime in the 70's (think orange shag). One piece of history that I've not uncovered is he was part of the Minneapolis Highwaymen car club. Since my purchase of the truck, in October of 2017, have done the following. Complete new interior, full frame off restoration including boxing the frame and sandblasting, installed a sbc 350 w/700R4 trans, reworked the 69 Pontiac rearend, rims and tires, front grill and cowling, wiring harness, fuel system, braking system, cooling system, bumpers and lights. I decided to keep the patina of the truck. Truck was repainted at sometime of its life
