| When bought, there was no transmission. Original had to be a 3 speed stick because there was no small hole in the steering column seal and the center floor cover over the transmission had the hole for the stick shift knocked out. Bell housing was plugged and re-drilled to fit the Dodge NP435 4 speed transmission. Rear differential was replaced with a 1991 Cherokee unit with a 3.55 ratio. Front Brakes were converted to disc using the Rusty Hope Conversion. Master Cylinder is a 1972 Corvette unit. |
| The truck has the Arizona paint job at this point, rust. I will be restoring the truck, hopefully using the original engine. 9-1-2017 Truck is close to complete, needing upholstery, and window glass. 12-14-2017 The truck is complete and drives well, there is still some work to do but that will be a pleasure. |
