This truck has been registered as a 1953 B4B Dodge 1/2 ton truck as far back as I can find paperwork from the previous owner. It was purchased in Downey Ca. in the early 60's by the family I purchased it from. The truck needs alot of work and I plan on bringing it back to as close to original as I can. The original motor and trans is gone, then a 318 was put into it, but when that motor siezed a 383 Chrysler moter with a 727 trans was dropped into it along with a push button selector which is how I found it. I'm still in touch with the previous owners and they want me to keep them posted on my progress which I gladly will do. I got the truck in Bellflower Ca. and it's going to stay in Cali!
