I found the truck on a lot in Pomona in pretty rough shape. Brakes didn't work, rough body etc. It did however have a small block chevy engine and automatic trans. Today it has a 350 eng. with a 700R trans, power steering, power brakes A/C, widened rear fenders and a custom butterfly lid on the bed. I kept the front straight axle and found a bolt up disc brake conversion kit. I wanted to keep the truck as original as I reasonably could with modern upgrades. I am very pleased at how it handles with the original sraight axle.
