Found the Dodge Fargo Panel in Colo Heights for sale in April 2016, sat for 12 months exactly before we decided to start fixing the rust, restoring it and mounting the body to a Hilux Chassis and running gear. Basically a body swap to overcome the serious amounts of rust. Many people had looked at this when it was for sale and said it was too far gone for them, I was brave enough to take the job on and am looking forward to seeing t finished.
Before I got the Panel Truck, I believe it may have been sold new to Ampol, then onto a baker, then it sat for possibly 40 years before I got it. Was a NSW registered panel, as it still had a license plate on it that looked like it was the original plate from new. Was a black and yellow plate - see pics, I think it's ART889.
Hoping to confirm the history from new.
