12,000 miles showing on the odometer,TMU, Bought off the second owner, 93 years young, who owned it for 70+ years. It’s 99.9% Rust free, complete down to gas cap and key, has a beautiful uniform patina with hints of the original red paint, rust and dent free box with the original wood still intact, rust free doors, cab corners and hinge pockets. Has the engine crank and handle, tire iron, battery hold down and bolts, 1952 licence plates, insurance papers from 1980 and 1981, spare hubcaps and an old Gates fan belt still with the cardboard centre. A time capsule whose vent window spring tabs still work, the glove box springs into place and the door rubber seals are still pliable. All the things that go missing on old trucks, like hood emblems, grill badge, headlight trim rings, gas cap, spare tire, tailgate, ignition key, gauges, seat back and bottom, and hubcaps, are all there. Even has a “United Grain Growers” scratchpad in the glovebox. Wonderful find, happy to be the next caretaker.
