1950 Dodge DF2 Truck Custom
Rebuilt 251 flathead 6 with raised compression, Langdons HEI distributor, Moose exhaust headers with new dual exhaust, new 2 barrel Autolite carb conversion and behind this is a Borg Warner T5 5 speed manual with overdrive and the rear axle is from a 91 Jeep YJ running limited slip 3:73 gears. Cruise all day at 65mph no problem
Truck has Rusty Hope front disc brake conversion and runs a new style dual reservoir master cylinder, rack and pinion power steering, and new king pins 2 years ago.
Front sheet metal is custom, and has been altered from a 51 front, and has the steel bumper hidden behind, and a custom made grill. Box is 9’ and lined with polished aluminum checker plate and a aluminum end gate. I do have an original tailgate, but would need a lot of repairs and straightening. Any rust was cut out and panels patched, cab has been completely stripped, sprayed with rubber sound deadner, then sound and heat Dynamat and foil insulation throughout the whole cab. Floor has extra thick underlay and custom orange carpeting.
Headliner was custom built in the US and all interior panels built from scratch and upholstered with matching heavy vinyl fabric. Leather seats, power windows, power drivers seat, Bluetooth stereo, with 2 x 10” subs and all electric custom gauge package.
Cooper Cobra Tires are like new, and rims have been powder coated.
