This truck was passed down to me from my Grandpa his name was Dee Payne from Rocky Comfort Missouri.
He bought this brand new and used it as his work truck as he was a carpenter by trade. He built his own camper like storage in the back to carry all of his tools. When he retired ( so to speak) he took that off. It is in great condition 1 rust spot on passenger fender,no dents that the naked eye can see, everything is original on it. I am in the prossess with a friend who restores auto's to restoring it to it's original color. Grandpa hand painted it every 3 years, after he sanded it down. I could use and are welcome to any info. on this truck,it seams everthing I look up is 1961 and over or 1959 and under.I do need some small body parts and the engine still runs but,needs a tune up. This truck holds alot of memeories for my brother and I . We learned to drive a 3 on the tree before we were even legal for a lisence. I hope to get pictures on here soon, on the start to finish process.
