| This is a pretty plain Cab Chassis dual rear wheel 1960 W300, without any real options. There was Power Steering added from some other application, the back of the frame was bobbed off to allow the dump bed to work, and a couple of PTOs were mounted. One PTO on the transfer case, and another on the transmission. |
| The picture of this truck was sent to me by the then owner in 2005. This truck has changed hands a few times since this image was taken in 2004, and soon I hope it will be making the Power Wagon truck show circuit. The previous owner informed me this truck was originally sold by Goodyear Motors in Lodi NJ (http://www.goodyearmotors.com) and it still had a Goodyear Motors sticker on it. Written on the door is the faint outline of lettering that reads: Costa Development Corp, New Milford, NJ. The owner in 2005 also shared with me that he had bought the truck from Naugatuck Ct., from someone who got it from his father, who had owned it for around 20+ years. This father may have purchased it directly from Costa Development Corp. they were not sure. |
