I just purchased this truck from the son-in-law of the original owner. His father had given it to him awhile back and it had been sitting in his garage a very long time. I almost feel like I just won the lottery. The truck is amazingly straight and almost completely rust free. The only rust is on the front side of each rear fender. Tailgate is amazing. Bed is amazing. Side Steps are amazing. The front clip and hood are off and in great shape. Some minor dents in the rear fenders but nothing that can't be made perfect. Motor is coming out in the next week or so for a total rebuild. This truck is a great place to start for a restoration. There is not 1 single item missing. It has every piece including both side view mirrors, all emblems, and has had no weird stuff added to it. It's all stock. The rims that are on it are extras and I have the originals that came with the truck. This will be a fun project. This is my 3rd Power Wagon but my first Power Giant and this is the most solid bodied Power Wagon I have ever seen from this era. Floors are solid all the way around. Cab mounts are awesome. This one is worth doing. I will update the rest of the information in the next few weeks, engine number, frame number, body tag number, engine number, wheel Rim Date and GVW. Net HP is 204
Update: 2nd Year into the restoration. It's really coming out amazing thanks to Ron Reichart. Should be driving around in it by fall of 2013.
