2011: Unconfirmed it was used in the Denver area as a rescue vehicle. It came with dual wheels and has a vent thru the drivers side for a propane heater.
Somebody decided too hack in a 1967 440 engine and automatic trans. Wiring is trashed, no brakes, engine runs good, drive train is next. Currently I am trying to get it driveable and maintain the exterior look as original as posslble.
3-29-2012: 440 is gone, it just didn't fit in the '57 frame. A 1987 318 w/727 are ready to install. It isn't original but much closer and will be a nice match for the truck. Hacked frame is repaired, springs rebuilt. Brake parts and most wiring is bought. New 16" wheels replace the OEM 17.5's that you can't find reasonable tires for.
