Purchased '57 Dodge D500 from Original owner, was a grain hauler on a farm in central Washington. Original color a sky blue. I bot it barely running, dump didn't work. I fully restored engine, tranny, and all hydraulics. Us it for my small construction company-a portable dumpster if you will. Though a 2 ton, I registered it as a 1 ton, and can legally haul more than I ever need to. Truck works perfectly. Only thing that doesn't work is the fuel guage. Body is great, no rust, gonna repaint it the sky blue from the current blueberry color it is now (and it's name given by original owners kids-Blueberry). Has hauled in the last 7 years about 110 trips to the dump, for a total of about 300,000 pounds of construction debris. Love the old girl, I'll add pictures soon.
