I'm the second owner, the truck was purchased in 1992 from the original owner who was 94 yrs old at the time. it was a northern California truck residing in Brownsville, Ca.
The body and frame are still original.
The engine, transmission, and rear end have been swapped out.
the rear end and transmission were gotten from a 1985 Chrysler 5th ave. The engine is a rebuilt 1979 era 318cu with 5,000 miles on it since it was put in. Its got an MSD ignition system, an edlebrock performer intake manifold with an edlebrock 650cfm spreadbore carb.
the metal is still in pretty good condition with some rust in the floor pan areas and some other little spots here and there.
I had to re wire the lighting and pretty much everything else as they were brittle and shedding insulation.
