I found this truck in Sept of 1998 with just the cab and partial frame. A previous owner had cut the frame off behind the cab trying to make a something ???? I purchased a frame and other parts from VPW and restored the truck to its present shape by June of 2000. I did contact the original owners widow in 1999 and she gave a brief history of my truck, she was 86 at the time. I painted my truck 59 Dodge Truck Red with Sand Dune White trim because red is my favorite color and Buckskin Tan is enough to make me gag. I enjoy my truck very much and nicknamed it Stubby because it was a stubby little truck when I bought it.
