Truck was a pile when I bought it.....previous owner had painted flat black with a roller and a brush with many runs.Truck had been run out of oil and thrown a rod. They stated that the truck had spent most of its life in palm springs.
Engine has been rebuilt,I rewired entire truck,new consumables...brakes clutch etc...trans and diff are working very well. I converted to electronic ignition. I installed a reciever for towing our 1959 Scotty trailer and our teardrop trailer. Added electric brake controller for trailer brakes and converted truck to 1 ton chevrolet dual master cylinder and booster...still has original drum brakes and stops well with the booster.
