| I inherited this truck in boxes and pieces. The frame was ruined and body was a mess and rusted through in many places. Someone had put in a 383 wide block and auto trans. I couldn't afford to restore the truck so decided to make a hot rod out of the pieces. It is now powered by a 5.9 L Cummins Turbo Diesel and a 727 Chrysler transmission. The truck is a ball to drive and is definitely a head turner and has won numerous trophies at car shows. |
