My friend Gerry told me about this TW in the
summer of 1998, it was at a small used truck dealer in Gotham, WI. The dealer
wanted $2,500 for the truck, and I thought that was a bit steep since the
whole truck was made up of parts from other trucks. The drivetrain was from
some unknown manufacture in the mid seventies, the engine was a 383 4bbl,
and the body was originally a 2wd. The body was in OK shape since it came
out of Texas, but while it ran, it was just a shell as far as I was concerned
since I wanted to fix up an original PW TW. |
