Power Giant W100s |
Someday I hope to make this site more comprehensive, but for right now I put up the pictures that I had of 1957-1960 W100s. Hopefully I will get more stories, and pictures of other trucks and then I can make this site more useful. If you have any information to offer, model year details, modern part numbers, or just stories about how you use, or repair your 57-60 W100 I would be interested. You can reach me at townwagon@hotmail.com |
PG W100s came in two wheelbases, 108" and 116". They were available as Utline(stepside) pickups in 1957 -60, and Sweptline(straight side) pickups in 1960 only. Other styles were chassis cab, stake, Town Wagon, and Town Panel. 1957-1958 W100s used 6 bolt wheels with a semi floating 8 3/4 corporate rear axle, and a Dana 44 front axle. Late 1958 W100s used the full floating 8 3/4 corporate rear axle. 1959-1960 W100s used 8 bolt wheels, Dana 44s in the front, and Dana 60s in the rear. |
